Welcome to our award winning garden

Our garden is a valued part of school life, supporting learning, wellbeing and curiosity through meaningful outdoor experiences.

A garden at the heart of our school

A living
classroom

Our garden is used as a living classroom, enriching learning across subjects such as science, geography, art and wellbeing. Children explore, observe and investigate the natural world through hands-on experiences that deepen understanding and spark curiosity.

Wellbeing and balance

Time spent outdoors supports children’s physical and emotional wellbeing. The garden offers calm, space and connection to nature, helping children focus, reflect and feel grounded within the school day.

Learning to care for the environment

Through gardening and outdoor projects, children learn about sustainability, responsibility and caring for the world around them. These experiences help pupils develop respect for nature and understand their role in protecting the environment.

Our Awards

We are an RHS Level 5 (which is the highest award!) school and currently have a Silver Green Tree Award.
