Wellbeing at the heart of school life

At Streatham Wells, wellbeing sits alongside learning every day, supporting children to feel confident, supported and ready to thrive.

Our Approach

At Streatham Wells, pupil wellbeing is at the heart of school life. We believe that children learn best when they feel safe, respected and supported, and we embed this belief across every aspect of the school day.

How we do it

Supporting emotional wellbeing

We create a calm, caring environment where children feel safe, valued and able to express themselves. Through daily practice and PSHE learning, children develop emotional awareness, resilience and positive relationships.

Strong relationships and positive behaviour

Clear routines, high expectations and consistent support help children understand behaviour, build self-discipline and treat others with respect. Our approach focuses on encouragement, responsibility and learning from mistakes.

Healthy minds and bodies

Physical activity, outdoor learning and healthy routines support children’s wellbeing and focus. From active play and PE to time spent outdoors, we help children develop habits that support both physical and mental health.
