How to contact the Safeguarding team
You can find Sarah on the school playground daily, both at the start and the end of each day.
Additionally you can call or email the school office and request a meeting/phone call and a safeagurding lead will get back to you as soon as possible.
What if I have a safeguarding concerns about a member of staff?
You should report any concerns you have about members of staff to the headteacher. If the concern is about the headteacher you should report it to the chair of governors.
What happens if a member of staff contacts me about a safeguarding concern?
All staff have a legal responsibility to act on any safeguarding concerns that they have. That means that if your child makes a disclosure, staff must act upon it. Often we will talk to your child to find out a little more about what they have said or what has been observed and we may then contact you to discuss the disclosure or concern. We do record all disclosures and concerns on our system however please don't consider it a black mark against your name-- we all have your child's best interests at heart.
What should I do if I have a safeguarding concern?
Contact any member of staff as soon as you can. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility so if you have any concern no matter how small speak to a member of Streatham Wells staff.
